The anointing in effortless union with God.

Because of what Jesus Christ and His finished work on the Cross, all who believe in Him are sons. Our sonship is not based on our pushing, striving, fasting or works. Sonship is not about “family status”. Or trying to become higher or more “powerful” than someone else, but it is simply beliveing in Jesus Christ and knowing what he says about us.

We are sons who are dripping with the oil of bliss.
We are the candlesticks flowing with the full measure of the seven spiritsof God, we are the candlesticks flowing with the full measure of this sevenfold torrent of golden oil.

Zechariah 4:6Amplified Bible (AMP)

6 Then he said to me, “This [continuous supply of oil] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel [prince of Judah], saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of whom the oil is a symbol],’ says the Lord of hosts.

The prophet Zechariah wondered at the two olive trees and teh lampstand which he saw in the vision. When Zechariah asked teh angel to interpret the meaning of the two olive trees and the candelstick, the angel replied with a word to the governor Zerubbabel saying, “not by might, nor by power but by my Spirit.” So the answer to Zechariah’s question as to the olive trees and their meanings were that they were anointings of the Spirit of God: by my spirit.

The lord then brings more clarity in:

Zechariah 4:12-14Amplified Bible (AMP)

12 And a second time I said to him, “What are these two olive branches which are beside the two golden pipes by which the golden oil is emptied?” 13 And he answered me, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.” 14 Then he said, “These are the two [a]sons of fresh oil [Joshua the high priest and Zerubbabel the prince of Judah] who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth [as His anointed ones].”

We see these two anointed ones mentioned again in the Book of Revelation – the two end time witnesses who prophesy in sackcloth for 1,260 days.

Revelation 11:4Amplified Bible (AMP)

4 These [witnesses] are the two olive trees and the two lampstands which stand before the Lord of the earth.

John sees in the vision that these two “witnesses” are endowed with great power.

Revelation 11:5-6Amplified Bible (AMP)

5 And if anyone wants to harm them, fire comes out of their mouth and devours their enemies; so if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this way. 6 These [two witnesses] have the power [from God] to shut up the sky, so that no rain will fall during the days of their prophesying [regarding judgment and salvation]; and they have power over the waters (seas, rivers) to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every [kind of] plague, as often as they wish.

These sons of oil have infinite power flowing through their pipes. The olive tree – the source of the anointing oil – is directly feeding them. The addition of the bowl to the candlestick is Christ Himself. He is the reservoir and channel to our ceaseless supply of oil. This oil causes us to burn a perpetual light. God’s full sevenfold river flows continually through us.

Zechariah is talking about two men – Joshua the high priest and Zerubbabel, the prince of Judah. These two were symbolic of things to come. (Zech 4:14 amp).

Zerubbabel was a civil ruler who, togheter with the priest Joshua, was leading the Israelites back from their long Babylonian captivity. He was in charge of rebuilding the temple of the Lord.

BOTH of these men represent Christ – our High Priest and builder of His church. Likewise, they represent two mantles on us as believers. One is a king. Another is a priest.

1 Peter 2:9New International Version (NIV)

9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Jesus Christ is now our eternal high priest. The role of the high preist is to make atonement for the sin of the people. Christ ALONE could do this. Christ alone could suffer. Christ alone could redeem. Woe to that intercessor who thinks she assists Christ in bearing the burdens of the world! There is no assistance to His cross. On the road of His passion, he said, “weep not for me.”(Luke 23:28) You are not even to feel sorry for His sufferings. You are called to rejoice and feast on them.

If we are now ordained as priests, sharng in the priestly office of Christ – what is left for us to accomplish? If the work is finished and done, who are we to hold such a title as priest?

Our job is not to repeat what Jesus Christ has done. Rather it is to simply rejoice in what he has done! As John Piper says “God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him”.

As a people who long to walk and operatein the ful charisma of God’s Spirit – let us never forget the center, source and focus of His presence and power.

It flows freely from Him and YOU are now In Him and He is In you, Christ In you, the hope of glory.

The slain Lamb is the origin and destination of all that God is. His golden oil flows generously and without reserve to all who ish to drink. It comes from Him, burns effortlessly through us, and shines right back to Him. He alone is the starting point, the cneter and the finish mark. The Alpha and Omega in the salvation of men. There is no longer a need to strive to get filled with the Holy Spirit, just trust in the finished work of the Cross and what he has done for you, what he says about you, how you now are full of anointing, you are now one with the anointing, in oness with the source to the anointing, he is now flowing through you with streams of living water. And the connector is trust, it is faith, in a effortless way. Just let this truth sink in and become a manifestation in yourlife. You are so loved, so full of glory! You got the God of the universe living inside of you, trust me you are a lot bigger on the inside then on the outside. So much glory on you!
